A genre-fluid recording project by Brooklyn singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Nate Kushner, Major Metals is a sense of humor first. It's a weird creep having a weird day, or a preposterous premise sung sincerely.
What it sounds like is abstract guitar swirls, shoe gaze funk, power pop, folk, and whatever else makes a fun song funner or a dumb song dumber.
